MEDICAL ASSISTANT

The Medical Assistant is a professional dedicated to helping the Physician and non-Physician providers with administering care to patients. Duties include blood draws, subcutaneous injections, vitals, treatment prep, notes, scheduling, ordering of treatments or labs for the providers and other healthcare related tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

• Take and or fulfill patient Blood Draws

• Fill patient prescriptions as ordered by providers

• Administer Sub Q injections

• Take patient vitals

• Perform tech duties relating to examinations

• Perform as needed note taking

• Schedule patients for Tx or referrals

• Physician treatment prep

• Answering phones
