Nathan Nutting
Physical Therapy Doctor - (Mechanicsville)
Nathan Nutting – PT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy after obtaining his degree from Hampton University. Originally a native of the farmlands north of Seattle Washington, Nathan earned a degree from Central Washington University in Clinical Physiology. While in Washington he spent time working with underserved populations in Yakima both as a Physical Therapy Aide and as a medical scribe for Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital.

While studying at Hampton University, he received expert-level instruction in the diagnosis and treatment of many musculoskeletal and neurological conditions including peripheral neuropathy, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, and other chronic pain and balance disorders. He excels at communicating with our patients to better understand their complaints and design a treatment plan to improve their lives.

As a recent transplant to the Richmond area, he enjoys playing rugby for the Richmond Lions Senior Club Rugby program and coaching the Virginia Commonwealth University’s Men’s Rugby Club. He also enjoys spending time with his fiancée and their dog outdoors at many of Richmond’s great parks or hiking and camping along the Appalachian Trail.
