The National Neuropathy Center office manager is the captain of the ship. The office manager sets the tone for the office and is responsible for learning and managing all business processes and staff. The manager is the boss of all staff. As the office leader, you are responsible for caring about the business philosophy, function, patients, and caring for each staff person individually. Care enough to know each staff person and learn how to effectively communicate with each person.

As we are a medical clinic the office manager must become knowledgeable about our services. You must be able to speak intelligently about each service.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Retrieve mail

  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain staff

  • Do bi-weekly payroll

  • Staff evaluations quarterly

  • Keep stats and report them daily to Dr. Erle via email

  • Record VAS, Pt survey, and TM Flow scores

  • Hold staff meetings monthly unless more is needed

  • Keep all office forms in supply and up to date

  • Inventory

  • Keep and order weekly office supplies

  • Patient advocate – meet with patients and collect data on their care as well as get to know them

  • Traffic Cop – make sure all Tx’s ordered are delivered and documented in chart and our electronic health record software

  • Check daily that all patient notes are done by the provider of services and patient is checked out in our electronic health record software.
